Taking a little break this week, so enjoy your barbecues and potlucks and fireworks– stay safe!

Join me Monday, July 10 at 5:45 pm.  We’ll write for an hour. That may be an hour you would not have otherwise used for writing….   an hour to think about the landscapes in your stories and how that informs the tale, the characters, the feel of the place.

We’ll write about fireworks, barbecues, the Constitution (just kidding), we’ll follow the rules and write what we want!  We may share what we write.  We may not (it’s not required) because sometimes we go too deep and uncover things we’re not yet ready to share. Or maybe what we write is nonsensical and is just a bunch of false starts and half-crafted images. Remember, Natalie Goldberg says you’re free to write the worst junk in the world.
